Welcome to The Unspoken

A space where silence breaks
not to clash, but to reflect, to learn, and to unsettle easy answers.

Here, I explore what is rarely shown: the truths of my culture, the joys and hardships of the Arab world.
I question traditions, examine beliefs, and name what is dismissed as taboo.

I speak the questions Arab women have too often been made to swallow:
Why must dignity be policed?
Who benefits when our voices are silenced?
When does culture or custom masquerade as truth?

This space is raw, messy, and real.
It holds my reflections, my hard truths, my defiance of norms, and my questioning of religion, tradition, and culture.
It is also a place to celebrate beauty, resilience, and identity who we are as people beyond what others portray.

At the heart of it all is my chance to unlearn, reclaim, and imagine differently.
Not to disrespect, but to be honest.
Not to abandon, but to choose.

If you’ve ever felt the weight of “because you’re a woman,”
if you’ve ever wondered where culture ends and personal truth begins,
if you’ve ever dared to dream of another way
pull up a chair. This is your table too.

Read slowly.
Question freely.
Bring your contradictions.
You are not alone here.

Let’s begin.
